@dtyshw I'm from Bavaria and they're a bit like the Scots. We love our country, our culture, our beer and good food and we are hospitable. Football is a good opportunity to show the world that it comes to friends. Sure a win is nice and of course we celebrated, but like you said: Football should connect and unite. And the fans from foreign countries should remember us Germans and Bavarians fondly. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you today against Hungary and wish you a win so that your party here with us can continue. Thank you for all your videos (so far) showing what a good time the Scots had in Germany while attending the EUROS and how welcoming the Germans have been to our "Tartan Army", even though some of the more humourous aspects of their presentations might have been missed. For example, the "Ailsa Craig Tartan Army". Ailsa Craig is an uninhabited island in the Firth of Clyde, (Clyde Estuary). 😂😂

That made me really happy, my scottish brothers and sisters in party mode. For me, this is the real Europe. As far as Germany is concerned, I no longer know which country I live in. For the first time in my life, as a German, I'm not for the German team. That has something to do with the extreme political left wing orientation and the oppressiveness that reigns in my country. That’s a big issue here and has been since the referendum. Scotland voted massively to stay in the EU as did Northern Ireland. England and wales voted to leave so we had no choice but to go. Trust me the majority of Scots I know really want to return.
