1:10 - the fact that they play highland cathedral in cologne is the most beautiful thing. not only that its a tune brought to scotland by 2 germans, but also because its a famous tune in cologne adopted by the cologne band "Bläck Fööss" called "Du bes die Stadt". Furthermore the FC Köln Anthem is based on the scottish tune Loch Lomond. So many connections. Much love from a cologne citizen. 💙🤍 ❤🤍

Die schottische Band Runrig (2018 endete die Bandgeschichte) hatte Loch Lomond ja populär gemacht und ist auf einem ihrer Konzerte auch mal in FC Köln Trikots aufgelaufen. Thank you for this post. We (I) didn't even know the story behind "Highland Cathedral". Loch Lomond and the Effzeh anthem are of course well known. The Scottish band Runrig (the band's history ended in 2018) had popularised Loch Lomond and once performed in FC Köln jerseys at one of their concerts.
