I've traced My Family Lineage to Scotland and this is One of a few Castles that My Family had.

Believe it or not but was here in 1995 filming the The Bruce by Cromwell Productions , did Bannockburn scenes here and at Blackness castle as well as interior scenes , was a Scottish foot soldier and English knight in the same scenes , ahh happy memories of the long hot summer , met many great people , and Brian Blessed and Ollie Reed among others , it was a hoot .

Aye! Loads of scenes filmed there and indeed, good memories. I played Chief McDonald and spent many days at Neidpath.

cool helped bunches im in middle school and we are doing a report on a castle and i saw a video by a channel called sam and colby where they stayed the night in it for the reason that they heard it was haunted and i thought it would be cool to do it on the neidpath castle my point is this helped alot thank you

@@DigItTV - yes but for castle-o-philes like most of us who explore the subject on KZbin - the snippets are just furious-making....so much enticement, and no meaty views - YOU are everywhere with a good story & history, but we didn't really see that castle at all except for the putside ! Grrr !
