Have never heard of John Soutar before watching this match tonight. Very impressed with his football.

He plays for Rangers. He always had lots of potential but was constantly out injured for long periods of time, or moved to left centre back (his weaker position as he is right footed) to accommodate Goldson at Rangers. Now that Goldson has left the club he is first choice at right centre back for Rangers, has stayed injury free this season and has been one of the teams best players. This form has now transferred over to international football, where he has played an integral part in the defensive resurgence of the past three games- keeping two clean sheets in the process. He was left out of the squad for the Euros in the Summer, but is now the first choice at centre back for Scotland.

Poor team selection....Dykes?? Useless for a target man can't even trap a ball...no goal scoring record to speak of. McLean was lucky not to get sent off and to not give a goal away. Mince meat. Hanley and Ralston did alright but Ok not sure they are better than McKenna or Devlin and both Hanley and Ralston don't start games for their clubs.
