I can't remember the last time I saw a sign saying parking was free!! Ooh I'm sorry to hear sammie has damaged the tendons in her elbow. Very painful and takes a long time to heal. Cool video JP, wonderful place to be. Covid prices camping boom! Everything has got extortionate and I agree criminal to rip off families as usual during school holidays ! Rant over !🤣👍 you don’t mind high prices if high quality and everything inclusive like that lovely second campsite , was it Ballater?👍 love Deeside, went salmon fishing once , wife’s boss won it at a charity do. Remember going for a nice hike to a Loch near Aboyne , Royal holiday lake house “ The Queens Hut”. Also lucky to be walking along near Crathie Kirk Church, when the Royals turned up for Sunday service. So surreal to see them turn up without too much fuss! Quite a few years back that was . ☺️ I agree there is a lovely feel to the place, beautiful walks you can do out on the Royal Deeside Estate 👍 Thanks for another great Scottish video JP and I hope Sammies elbow feels better soon🙏

Hi JP, what a stunning place you’ve moved to, I think that’s going to somewhere to take our mo ho next summer. My hubby wanted me to send you these details for Sammie as he was diagnosed with Tennis Elbow a few months ago, it’s an RSI. The Physio told him to get a n Epycondylitis strap off Amazon he had a medium. It’s been brill and solved his problem, you wear it whilst you are using your arm and take it off when not. Under £10 but it’s worked for him, just wanted to share that with you, like you share your knowledge with us. Have a great time best Balmoral looks spectacular xxx

Can I add to your rant of the day about the Camping and Caravan Club? How can they justify the extra charge for an extra person when booking. I've just done a booking for their camp site in Cheddar Somerset, for three nights in October it was going to cost £86-70, then I realised I.d mistakenly only booked for one person. When I corrected this and added a second person (my wife) the price went from £86-70 to £148-65, an extra charge of £61-85, how can they justify an extra £20-62 per night for one extra person? I could understand a nominal charge but not over £20. The pitch will be the same, the amount of electric used will be the same, maybe there will be a little more water used, an extra shower and an extra bit of toilet paper. But that bit of extra water, toilet paper and shower is going to cost £20-62, thats daylight robbery in my book. The CAMC are no better they have similar extra charges for a second person. They don't seem to realise there are independent sites that don't make a charge for an extra person that are every bit as good as these club sites! All the two clubs seem interested in is maximising their profits, not service or value to their members. The club pitch prices are not far short of a budget hotel price, in fact I recently stayed a night in a Premier Inn for £47-80 a couple of pounds cheaper than this Camping and Caravan Club site. So I'm not renewing my membership to both the Camping and Caravan Club and the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Hi buddy! At least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed you eh! Thats absolutely disgraceful! We all stuck by them and continued to keep the club afloat over Covid and all they do is pull your trousers down with the prices! I try to use independent campsites now as I just think they’re taking the pi££! It’s supposed to be the friendly club! and I hear they don’t look after their wardens too well either! It’s pure greed and you’re right it’s getting towards hotel prices eh! 😣 thanks for watching!! 🙏👍❤️

Fully understand through rant on prices but it'd not a new thing, been happening for years and because nothing I'd done by governments it will remain so. Glad I don't have kids and get the chance to avoid the busy times.

I'm not surprised the the price of rabbit have gone up as proper wild rabbits are actually in decline due to habitat loss, chemicals like pesticides being used and Rabbit Viral haemorrhagic Disease type 2 which is decimating populations as its incredibly contagious and there is no cure, when a infected rabbit catches is with in 48hrs and they are hemorrhaging internally and dying. Its airborne and spread by touch so are rabbit doesn't even need to be in direct contact with an infected rabbit, it just needs to go on the ground where they live to catch it and then the take it home to their warrens. Horrible disease and its man made, designed for Australia but it doesn't stay in Australia it eventually spreads all over the world. the US used to be clear of it but now they have it and normally these things don't affect cotton tails but this is and it even kill hares as it has mutated. I have to make sure Titch is vaccinated for it as I can bring it home on my shoes and clothes. Anyway have a great time with Dan and Mazzy xx
