In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. KZbin earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

My 9 year old niece has been recently taking an interest in Chateau Unwrapped, and the past few weeks has watched snippets with me weekly. But today I was babysitting her and her 2 yr old brother, so we watched live. She was very intrigued by the jewelry pieces, and had comments for nearly everything. She has always reacted to the various gifts in a more intellectual way rather then emotional though, so you can imagine that I was actually physically startled lol when the pink Safari Style Robe emerged from it's packaging and there was a huge involuntary yell right in my ear: "I want that!! Oooohh, I WANT that! I really want that, Aunt Mary!!" This was repeated fervently throughout the entire modeling process of the robe. Except she said she would sing 🎶 "I am a Zebra🦓! I am Zebra🦓!" 🎶 everytime she walked(waltzed?) into a room, versus a Tiger🤣 I might have to see if I can track down the company who makes those. It was also interesting to me that the two reactions Baby Brother had were: "I wike dose!" to the black hedgehog earrings that made a very brief appearance after the flamingo earrings (when asked if he meant the flamingo ones, he shook his head, pointed to the black ones, and repeated himself), and "OH!! Like dat!" when the yellow crane scarf came out. It's always so interesting to me to see who responds to what items, because an emotional reaction to objects can be so varied for every individual, and often even our own reactions catch us by surprise! Life can be so unexpected, it's part it the adventure of it all.

I came in late to the premiere and saw Scott man singing some song and Isabel wearing a pink wig. I thought, "What have I missed?" Of course I watched it from the beginning once the premiere was over . You, again, got amazing gifts! What a great family activity.I invented a drawing and painting class based in the HP and Fantastic Beasts characters for kids 7-11 at our local community art school. On the last day of class, one of the girls' Moms made us all some chocolate frogs from scratch! So much fun.

I had to dash out to get my dog peanut butter, so after 2 hours on the road and 5 minutes in Costco to grab peanut butter and wolf down samples ... olives , werthers caramel corn, and coffee I am back and when I turned on my computer I was able to settle down with a hot chocolate (gone cold) and my dog is behind me licking her peanut butter bone.. to Cadeau ah blisss
