Today, we're up in Scotland! We're going to take a ride over to Glasgow Central, but with their newest trains in their fleet, which is the Class 385's!
We'll have a look at the train, see if they're any good or not and take a ride from Edinburgh to Glasgow!

Nice one. The Class 385 is effectively the communter version of the Hitachi A-Train upon which the IETs were based. They have the same shells as the Class 8XXs - hence the similarity you saw!

I don’t have a problem with the ironing board seats found on a lot of commuter trains these days. I actually think they are more comfortable than the standard class seats found on the high speed trains operated by LNER and GWR due to their better ergonomic shape. The only issue I have with the class 385s is the airline seats have very poor window alignment

I can't remember what name you called them but the Dundee --> Waverley trains are very comfortable compared the looks of these ironing boards

If you're referring to the Turbostar's, HST's or 158's, then yes.
