@B RN Wrong and he would disagree with this kick as it is way too complex and telegraghed. Lee would mop the floor with Scott Adkins and Ginger Ninja. (No disrespect to Scott and his ability, love his Boyka). While theyd be winding up for some fancy 720 bs Lee would move in block and parry. Even the average Joe would dodge this kick since you see it coming after 1 spin. It looks fancy but its not practical.
@alfredsukeloff71834 жыл бұрын
@King Killer Well then, its a good thing he never got to fight in any MAYOR ORGANIZATION. Have you seen how they punch in UFC? Their punches are very slow and telegraghed, almost like sissy girls throwing sloppy slaps at each other. Did you ever see Lee's Wing Chun handwork? Not 1 slow sissy UFC punch wouldve landed on Lee. Not that i worship Lee. But what he taught is unprecedented. People say that because UFC combines a couple styles, Lee inspired UFC. I disagree. Lee wouldve tossed out most of what they do for faster more efficient movements. Use what works, toss out what dont. The length of the matches (minutes) is proof enough that its ineffective against similar trained athletes.

Try to kick your leg not in a horizontal direction. When you jump, throw your kicking leg upward (with thought in mind that you are want to kick above your head) and then lower your leg down. Thus, kick goes along an arc direction, not in the horizontal. and of course you have to get a lot of momentum and speed by a good cheat setup

@thomasip99384 жыл бұрын
You need to strengthen your leg (as well as other muscles), doing some squats should help. Also don't kick with full power to the air without a target, otherwise you will damage your knee.
@ajha1004 жыл бұрын
Saezul try not to lock out your knees too much if you’re starting out. TKD stretching, and indeed most martial arts stretching will force your legs to lock out to stretch your hamstrings, but combined with the repetitive leg extensions from kicking (especially when you’re not hitting an actual target), this can cause knee pain/injury. The alternative is to not fully lock your knee out on the kick extension (the snap out). Best thing to do: ask your instructor. Anyone worth their salt will tell you what to do. Your individual situation will be different - ability, weight, form, all affect knee pain (and other injuries) in martial arts. But your sahbumnim should be able to help. Last note: Tae, not tea. ;-) Good luck!

Pretty sure Ben Affleck wishes he could play Boyka. Playing Batman would be a downgrade.

Scott Adkins is very underrated. Hollywood is totally wasting his talent , shows how shitty politics is . They , instead of getting someone professional like Scott, tend to train an amateur actor to take the role 👎🏻

I am under quarantine and all I have been doing with most of my time is watching scott adkins, and around the evening: I study the ASVAB test book to join the military police because when I was growing up I watched Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal with my dad, I pray hard to God 🙏 that I will make it and become a martial artist like my dad's favorite stars, including my favorite Scott Adkins, Ray Park and Bruce Lee.
