I’m 45 now, but I practice my side splits every single day. This was of course from watching bloodsport when it came out back in the day haha. I’ve never really 100% been able to go into length-wise splits , so I’m trying to reach that now. Getting lower every day so that’s good. I’m about a fist away from bottom. And like you I’ve always been a left leg kicker, though I’m right handed, but it’s just about relaxing into it all, not forcing the tendons to do what you want. Slowly, my legs will find that sweet spot.

Please give me some advice how to do it. I am 41. How often, how long for?
@Domzdream3 жыл бұрын
@@AntoniOrszykowski Depends on how flexible you are, but like all stretching is done, the same thing goes. Get into as wide spread as you can get it, and stretch. Then relax the tendons, and you'll definitely be able to go further into the stretch after the relax. And you just keep on repeating. Myself, I sometimes just watch a movie while stretching, and I keep in that stance as long as 20 or 30 mins. But it must never hurt. But you should feel those tendons stretching, but again without any pain. Pain is there to let you know you're going too hard.
