Simple. Well presented. Very helpful. We will be installing our unit and this makes me feel comfortable that we can handle it. Thanks much!

I'm glad it was helpful, from my experience the guys at Scott Aerator are helpful too if you have any questions! Good luck!

Thanks for sharing. Debating between the Weeder’s Digest AquaThruster and this one. I’m looking at the 3/4hp model. Never knew the tube was pvc. I assumed that t would be metal but maybe the thought is pvc will last longer. Hoping you post follow up videos of how the 360 oscillator is programmed/works and how well it’s working after installation. I just don’t want to make a $2,000 mistake. Thanks.

Hi Steve, thanks for the comment, the ice came off the lake last weekend and we’re headed out of town this weekend, I’ve been itching to get this in the water and I will definitely do another video of the install and operation!

Steve, you mentioned you were trying to decide between the Aqua Thruster and the Scott's aerator - which one did you end up getting and how do you like it?

@@carololiver3674 I went with the Scott’s 3/4 HP 110v version with the std 50’ cord and the 360 oscillator. I needed more cord but couldn’t justify their price so a bought a hd 100’ cord for way less. The oscillating is a necessity or you will end up digging a trench. It does a great job on moving muck and debris. Performance does greatly decrease as weeds clog the inlet screen so depending on your lake, you may have to clear it every few hours. Definitely not set and forget. Overall, we’ve been happy with it.

@@stevehorvat69 thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. I've been looking at these for quite sometime. I think next Spring I'm going to finally go for it!

July 4, just watched your video. I am in northern MN and am bought 3/4 hp unit. Hasn't arrived yet. Are you happy with yours? Will it move the muck?
@ballhammerindustries Жыл бұрын
Overall I have been happy, it will move muck but I've found it will also pile it up, so it's best to move the unit around on your dock so you don't end up with big underwater piles of muck that can potentially be more troublesome than the muck in the first place
