That air bounce from under the tree was absolute filth Jerm 🤯 Such a cool concept playing with Am’s, different but refreshing from the usual practice rounds!
@macbony5 ай бұрын
That whole moment was a highlight. Stokely's reaction was great and Jerm sounded so disappointed when he thought they didn't get it on film.

I totally agree about the cool concept part, and awesome that it was a father-son duo (who were pretty friggin good!).

Practice rounds should be with Am’s all the time. Not only do we get the usual preview of the course, we got to see more tips that can help disc golfers across the ability spectrum. Jerm and Scott’s interactions with Brian and Andrew were very enjoyable.

I know this ep was last minute, but I gotta say it’s one of my favorites. Playing with AMs, Jerm was sharing tips and tricks that related to me. Not only was this ep entertaining like they all are, but educational as well. Maybe y’all have stumbled on a new killer format! Make more like this! (Of course Scott was amazing as always!)
@davidmorton81705 ай бұрын
I wish more tour players would be available to AMs throughout the tour like this. I’d pay more money to play a round with these guys ( and benefit from the inherent teaching) than to watch a tournament from behind some ropes where iI can’t see anything.
@flippeditude11705 ай бұрын
I'm agreeing a lot on this thread. I agree that this could be a new/fun thing here. Do any pros do paid lessons where they just play a practice round with AMs?

Damn didn't think I was going to cry during this episode @1:01:48 ........ Dogs are truly gifts we don't deserve and I felt every bit of your pain and I bet Jackson was the best boy ever! I have a dog named Zeus and he is only 3 but I dread the days when he is not around! You were his best friend and he loved you more then we as humans understand! Kept his memory alive and a big hug goes out to you from me and my boy Zeus!!!!!!!!!

This was such a great round. Stokely reminds me of doing anything with my 15 year old...just having fun, loves seeing good shots, and half the time says "yeah, but I bet I can do it better". The dog memorial and Big Jerm pull out the tear jerker there was big. Life would suck without my dogs and it stings like losing a best friend when they are gone. And I love watching some Ams get on there and disc these courses. Love to see more of that.

Love the dog memorial idea on number five. Jerm said it was Fred Salaz the course creator and hall of famers thing. Fred has done so much for our sport! Thanks Fred! I remember the first time I played the hole with you when it was just an idea with tall grass and weeds and stickers before the ‘fairway’ had the small brush cleared.😄 liked it the first time and it still is a great hole! Fred I hope it brings you joy to see what our Idlewild has done for the sport! Yours and Bob Herbert’s idea of needing two good shots to score well on a hole was a rare thing in those times and pushed the sport and course design to a new level i believe. Thanks Fred, and Bob Herbert of course and all us grunts that helped clear the sticker bushes and brush and grub out all the stumps! It was a huge undertaking of love and sweat. Fred put god knows how many hours of labor in. I’m so happy to have helped him and wish I could have helped more! Miss you Fred! When I get to town I hope to go play 🖖🏼DJ

Scott and Jerm are the type of pros that you always hope to get paired up with. Great skills of course, but great attitude along with sharing wisdom about the game. Far too often, the pros I've seen in doubles are more concerned about the score, and resent the lack of skill of their partners. Way to set an example fellas!

I've watched these going back to the first ones, and you've done some great ones. But this might have topped them all. The dubs format with the ams was a great way to see the course, and see it like many of us would play it. The relationship between Jerm and Scott was delightful to witness. And, well, the dog moment. Great stuff!
