If we’re being real that’s pretty much the problem with all the boras 4. Chapman is age related, and Monty has been much more consistent, but price between 115 era+ and 135 is crazy different.

Boras isn’t to blame for Belli’s deal but he will be to blame when Matt Chapman signs a one year deal, after having turned down at least two 9 figure extensions in the past. Same happened to Michael Conforto and Joey Gallo. Going to free agency isn’t always best.

@@artvandelay94 Players get to choose their agent in case you didn't know. The main reason why players hired Boras is to get paid. However, we all know this is based on performance. Chapman hasn't been great recently offensively to justify getting a long term extension. He can blame no one other than himself.
