And I actually really hate the original song (bc of how much it was played in the 90's lol), but her and PMJ's version is just epic and I really loved how she played with her voice for that "Barbie" effect and completely looked the part. Basically, I concluded that she would have more control, self-direction and potential for profit on lower embedded cost by going independent, and she would not have to do any less work for having obligated herself to a label.

Morgan sings with a purity that isn't found in other singers. Her voice and her interpretations make the songs better than the originals. Scott Bradlee is an absolute genius in the way he arranges and interprets tunes and then puts the perfect performers together to give them life. I'm assuming that most everyone reading this is aware of PostModern Jukebox but if you're not, you're missing out on an amazing audio and visual experience!

In the early 90s, I used to play only good music in the car for my son, whenever we went for a walk. His favorite, no doubt was Who Wants to Live Forever. Now. I love what PMJ represents: a return to fundamentals. Top notch musicians actually playing instruments. Wonderful singers not requiring autotune or the need to overwhelm a song. I've been a PMJ fan for a long time. This is a fascinating, mesmerizing video on so many levels.
