I've never read a more accurate description of Scott's talent. It seems like he was born on a piano seat. The same could be said of most of the other PMJ musicians. They all are masters of their instruments.

My first song of hers was Barbie Girl. And I actually really hate the original song (bc of how much it was played in the 90's lol), but her and PMJ's version is just epic and I really loved how she played with her voice for that "Barbie" effect and completely looked the part. She is not only a good singer, but an actress on stage, such a cool expressive personality.

Basically, I concluded that she would have more control, self-direction and potential for profit on lower embedded cost by going independent, and she would not have to do any less work for having obligated herself to a label.

Morgan sings with a purity that isn't found in other singers. Her voice and her interpretations make the songs better than the originals. Scott Bradlee is an absolute genius in the way he arranges and interprets tunes and then puts the perfect performers together to give them life. I'm assuming that most everyone reading this is aware of PostModern Jukebox but if you're not, you're missing out on an amazing audio and visual experience!

In the early 90s, I used to play only good music in the car for my son, whenever we went for a walk. His favorite, no doubt was Who Wants to Live Forever. Now. Life separated us and "there is no time for us. There is no place for us" sounds sinisterly prophetic because we haven't seen each other for 23 years. I make a point of presenting him, now a 33-year-old man, this new version of his favorite song when he was 3 years old. Thank you very much Morgan!

I love what PMJ represents: a return to fundamentals. Top notch musicians actually playing instruments. Wonderful singers not requiring autotune or the need to overwhelm a song. Sophisticated arrangements. It's not about engineering and studio trickery, just old school performance skills. It's sad that this all feels so retro.

MJ is beyond beautiful without make up. Her voice is far beyond even that. The record deal dialog is most illuminating. Corporate playlists still control commercial radio which is mercifully dying allowing true artists like Scott and Morgan to emerge on their own.

Scott is awesome too, of course, but there's only one Being in the know universe that could have created those pipes... The wood and the strings help accompany Scott, but Morgan is out there with her God given voice, and He was in a really good mood on that day! Then listen to the sublime Morgan James slay Scott Bradlee's bluesy rendition of the iconic Guns n' Roses hit, Sweet Child o' Mine. They also do a killer version of a Queen song as well.
