This is real jazz! this is what improvisation is supposed to be, melodic phrases that make sense and are memorable. Not playing a bunch of garbage as if you were getting paid by the note! This is about as good as it gets!

Straight ahead jazz at it's best. A tune from the classic Basie band (with Prez). These guys bring back memories of Zoot Sims and Al Cohn!
