Reading the comments below - amazing how judgmental and uninformed folks are speaking on how "Lame" JJ was for only apologizing and seems to suggest people believe this short video tells the whole story. Jesse James didn't JUST apologize, he also spent a good deal of time in jail for the follies of his youth. He openly admits he was a idiot when he was younger and has fought to make himself a better person, for himself and for his family. He still has his faults, and I'm sure doesn't have the exact same "moral compass" that maybe some of you have, but he does a lot for kids, a lot for charity, and is a talented and self made man who has put some very bad things behind him. To then years later STILL make the effort to SEEK OUT Scott Hamilton (not just happen to stumble across him) and go out of the way for a private and sincere apology - not to be seen on facebook or the media says something more than replacing a car either of them could afford out of pocket change. It wasn't Jesse that sought the publicity of this apology, that happened from other sources years later. I have NO DOUBT based on the sincere and lasting friendship between Scott and Jesse that if Scott had ALLOWED it Jesse would do whatever his friend wanted, but let's face it - Scott doesn't NEED nor did he NEED back then to have anyone buy him or build him a car.
