Love the idea of this, seeing the paint job on that lovely Scott frame ruined made me wanna cry 😢

If we call it patina, then its not ruined anymore 😅

@@zwicker5585 Goddamn, all this time I thought I was getting old and I was just developing patina 😁

I got a friend to weld disc tabs on my Dad bike. It’s a specialized hard rock (step through) with a Clydesdale fork on the front. Dropper post for the win.

I had to watch this again and I’d like to send you a 1997 Rockhopper if that’s possible. I’m looking forward to seeing the Scott build part 2 👍

I'm looking for that Anvil Feng Shui ISO rear disc brake fixture for years, and nowhere can be found, only on those bike forums with a bunch of gate keepers.😭

I have a few bikes I'd love to do this too and considered doing it myself as nobody does this but this is an amazing idea and can't wait to find out more 😁👍

So cool to act as middleman for getting tabs & bosses added to a retro frame. Wish I could avail of it but sadly based outside the UK. Wishing you well with it all and hope there is lots of interest. Keep up the great videos Craig 👍

Definitely interested in this. I don't trust myself to do this right with a 98 Specialized Hardrock here - converting to a cargo hauler

I would LOVE this (but with international shipping -- understand your limitations)

Had an old Dawes Kokomo disc tabbed and bossed by @Clandestinebikes in Bristol. Well worth the effort.

Will they put disc tabs on alloy frames ?

Sounds great but I live in Finland so wouldn`t work for now atleast. Do you know any good adapters that could work.

Great idea, but why not put post-mount bosses on rather than the somewhat obsolete IS?

Why isn't the brace piece straight? Is it a style choice and you don't lose much rigidity versus a straight piece?

I don't get it. Why don't you just buy a new frame ready for disk brakes? This type of mod looks so stupid on old frames, because it's obvious that doesn't belong there.
@dorothyvankomen41095 ай бұрын
No big company is making this sort of geometry. Recycling. And the frames are cheap.
