I was hoping that Velus Jones would prove Poles correct in using the 71st pick of the 2022 draft to select him. If he can catch the ball consistently, he has the physical ability to be our best WR. Yes, I wrote our best WR. Yes, I know we have Keenan Allen, DJ Moore, and Rome Odunze. Jones could be a bigger, stronger version of T. Hill (former Chief, current Dolphin). I'm not at the point of thinking his time is limited with our Bears. I would never want an injury to happen to our top 3 WR's. I have a feeling Jones is the first replacement, if an injury were to occur. I think he will do enough this season to show Poles he does not need to spend top dollar to keep Allen next season. We could use the money to resign Teven Jenkins, Larry Borom, Khalil Herbert, and sign a veteran pass rusher.

You can Tyler Scott & Velus aren't fans of the #9 pick. Tyler wouldn't say his name on Adam Rank show and this presser. Velus sounds like he know this might be his last training camp with the bears.

No one is taking about how having an off structured QB like Caleb allows the Bears defense to be able to defend against QBs like Mahomes. You need to be able to defend against Mahomes if you want to win a championship. Just ask the 49ers. They were so close to winning last year until mahomes went mahomes

Firstly, it's "wasting"; secondly, the fact that he's still on the team after as many dropped passes/fumbles as he's had is a miracle! He's an absolute waste of a roster spot, & he might not even make this year's if even one person outperforms him. Definitely won't be here next season.
