I've been here since the "how did knuckles knock the chaos emeralds out of super sonic" video and I loved every single video. I am glad and proud this channel has gotten this far.

My friends and I played online and kept having to replay the first level because of weird desync issues. We decided to just save up enough for Scott's late fees and maxed out one of our characters with the super cheap upgrades ($4.95 for 10 in each stat!) That one character carried us through to the end on Supreme Master difficulty. It was glorious.

My friends and I had a game night and we played this on the hardest difficulty beginning to end in 1 sitting (with a lot of breaks after every level of course). It was honestly the most fun I had. Back in 2010 I moved out of state and we did play this shortly before I left and it was the most fan I had replaying it with that same group of friends.

I played through the whole game with my brothers via co-op. The glitch we ran into the most was sometimes one of us would not be able to go through a door, blocking us from entering the store or progressing the game.

That happiness and excitement at getting a code is just too wholesome! Happy for you, dude. Last year's River City Girls felt like a spiritual sequel to this. It's weird to now have both games side-by-side on the same machine. The online though? Glitches hard! It could not keep me and my friend in sync and we kept getting soft locks where the game wouldn't progress.

Did you know? If you input the konami code, you get up to $20 (or $50, I'm not sure) at the cost of your health (so make sure to get some chewing gum, the cheapest health item) This is a way easier way, to grind for money Also, there's a Subspace (super? Idk) Highway/shortcut, basically right before the snowball fight, in the first area. Go through this, and you basically have an easier access to the shopping district Also, just be on a lookout for stars in general Also also, in the subspace highway part of the final boss GRAB THE SWORD It's in the final area before the boss

Im a huge scott pilgrim fan and a huge beat m up fam too, but this game is just too much. Theres a lot of things in this game that I dont like, it feels like im not in control, yk? The difficulty spike is real and desincouraging, the little numbers that shows up whe you damage a enemy dont mean nothing if i dont have any indicator that im doing damage, like no health bar, and since theyre such a bunch of damage sponge it takes for ever and you end up feeling weak. Being pilled on is cool but also weird too bcs its so random, adding to the feeling that I dont have control over whats happening or what im doing. When i play mother russian bleeds i can literally see the damage im doing, theres no health bar in that game but their sprites starts to bleed and look all gross, i miss starting with a lot of moves like in Dnd Shadow over mystara bcs it makes each character unique, in castle crashers theres no indicator that the enemys are dying but since they dont have a lot of health it isn't annoying, and you can control your stats when you level up. This game probably just has a other style to it but I wish the game made these things more easier to understand.

Hey idk if you knew but there’s actually cheat codes in this game activated by button combos like the older games like the konami code there’s one extremely similar to it that takes one life but gives you 50 coins so as long as you have a snack before you do it you can keep on grinding to pay the late fees in the video store then keep grinding to max out your stats

Love this game, but the wallace dlc is a a little lack luster. His move set could of been more creative, like maybe make it so his grab kiss move turns the enemy to your team or something. He kinda feels to generic to me. Knives is super cool though.

honestly since the game barely came out it makes sense to why i wasn't able to play with anyone also i agree with certain things especially the difficulty jump tip: in Wallace's shop in the first level you can get extra lives by buying the first thing actual tip: jump(hold) up up down down left right left right block

Yeah, so me and Older Bro have already started playing this game and we agree that we love the story and the characters. We just straight hate the gameplay. We've just struggled with the gameplay of this game and games like it. For example, we did a playthrough on River City Girls and had similar problems. Older Bro always complains about the I-Frames. I don't fully understand what it means, but I understand it enough when certain situations arrive. Like when an enemy hits you and your in a animation where you should be invenceable for a couple seconds. Then the enemy hits you again, while your on the ground or in the air. You still take damage despite your couple of seconds of invenceablity. Me and Older Bro just hate brawlers I suppose. We might even ban them from being played on our channel. Who knows maybe you can tell us our issues with this game. We definitely don't understand what to do in terms of just simply beating the story mode. If I'm not making any sense we are doing a playthrough on this game. You can point out our faults there. Or not. So to conclude, we are shit at the game and cannot currently beat the story mode...😑 -Younger Bro

The online in and of itself is really poorly done. When you do get connected desyncs happen liberally so you can barely play the game with your friends at all. This is apparently how it was back then, so the fact that Ubisoft didn't even bother to fix it speaks volumes to me. It really pisses me off too because I bought this game more or less specifically to play with my friends, so I feel like I was ripped off. I can't entirely say with confidence that they'll patch it either.
