@casey adams Brandon Routh; he was Todd in this movie Honestly I think that if he had done a Superman role around the time this movie came out (2010), he would’ve been a better portrayal than he was in Superman Returns (2006) At Todd he looked to be in better shape with more definition in the face and he didn’t look so young I also remember watching Superman Returns and thinking that it was kinda boring and done in a “paint-by-numbers” sort of way, but whenever Todd is onscreen in this movie, he just gives off a much more memorable presence… and then he activated his Vegan Powers and it gets that much better

Weird (fun?) fact that just happened: I watched this clip on my laptop on 1 mono speaker because the other one broke long ago. Edgar Wright has a way of adding little touches that other directors wouldn't think of that just add to a scene. Example: The Vegan cops high-fiving as they leave. There are so many little things like that throughout Scott Pilgrim that make it a modern day masterpiece

It’s all about perception baby. They probably picked bass lines that are impressive enough and communicate what’s necessary to appeal to the general audience. Drummers including myself might have had similar thoughts if this was executed the same way but with drums (I’ve played drums for 8+ years).
