I remember the 1st time I ever heard of Scott Pilgrim was when I saw the E3 2010 trailler for the game and when I found out a movie was coming alongside it, I vowed I'd do whatever I could as a highschool student to see that movie since at the time, a movie was all I could afford. I ended up renting it from Redbox and I enjoyed the movie so much, I took time out of school to refilm the Lucas Lee fight with me as Scott, a female friend as Ramona, and my other friend as Lucas. I never got to play the game until it came out last month, and it was a blast despite the weird balancing issues with how stats are implemented. I only have 1 out of 3 of the color collection volumes, but I hope to complete the collection soon. And your review was fantastic. I liked your enthusiasm for this wonderful series.

A superb comic, an awesome movie adaptation, a modern retro game before it was cool, an omage or an intro to chiptune music and the best indie chiptune bands and now also a Netflix anime reboot sequel that treats it's source material with respect complete with all the returning cast, production from the movie and even tightly supervised by the author of the comics himself. I wonder what's next for the IP in the future? A boardgame? A live action series? A light novel conversion? Man fans are the life of a franchise through and through.
