Hands down Scott Pilgrim is the best adaptation of a graphic novel/ video game. Everything about it equals the intensity of the books and while lots of the stuff is removed it still holds up to have good comedy, amazing action, and a kick ass plot line. If you ask me the movie takes out some of the more dramatic and sappy stuff you see in most romance movies and makes it better.

The only thing I disliked when it was released and still am not huge on was the casting of Scott. I don't think Michael Cera was the right choice to play a character billed as 'the best fighter in the province.' He doesn't look, move or act like a fighter, and he doesn't have enough of comic-Scott's...what, unthinking rogueishness? There's some essential quality I just don't see in Cera that the part needed. Otherwise a truly sweet movie. Loved it then and love it now. EDIT: Fixed the misspelling of the actor's last name. I'm sure he, and all good netizens, will rest easy tonight...

While the Canadian Armed Forces were eventually active in nearly every theatre of war, most combat was centred in Italy,[1] Northwestern Europe,[2] and the North Atlantic. In all, some 1.1 million Canadians served in the Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Navy, Royal Canadian Air Force, and in forces across the Commonwealth, with approximately 42,000 killed and another 55,000 wounded.[3] During the war, Canada was subject to direct attack in the Battle of the St. Lawrence, and in the shelling of a lighthouse at Estevan Point in British Columbia.[4]

God, coming back to watch this moment was amazing. Just loved the whole idea of rock vs techno and the projection battle between the green-eyed monster and the gemini dragons was amazing. Also loved how both the twins seem to communicate with each other so much without even saying a word. And seeing a thought the twins put up a pretty good fight, despite playing so little and only using a small number of keys on their HUGE keyboard is phenomenal. Or maybe they used more, I couldn't really tell. ;) (If that is the case, I like to think the reason why they used so little keys is because the twins thought they didn't need to use their full power to defeat Sex Bob-Bomb, showing how cocky they were without even saying anything. The Twin Dragons are their pride and the Yeti is Scott's Envy. Scott literally used the Twins' own Pride to defeat them! Of course, I could be wrong, but that's just my personally theory) Even if they're not the most powerful of the Evil Exes, that's pretty impressive. The only issue with this battle was it was WAY TOO short, but I understand, if they really made this scene too long, it would've devoured the budget of the movie. But god, what we got was amazing.
