New Zealand managed hold out for a win against a fiesty Wallabies team to retain the Bledisloe Cup.

A sad day in NZ rugby, the fact that they are happy with that performance. Get the feeling Razor was already congratulating his team on the win at half time. Razor saying pleased we got the cup. In actual fact Ian Fosters team won it for you and you just had an easy way of retaining it…. Say you won it after beating Aus next week.

No Aaron Smith, retallick, mo'unga, Frizell. Lost a few key players from that time. Doing well from new capped players but really shows the lack of depth when it comes to subs finishing the game

We are great for 25-30 minutes. We have 3 years to learn to play 80-90. Some of these lads are really coming into their own, which is great to see after a few years where the old heads let us down.

I’m surprised Razor let them sink into the pattern of playing beneath themselves when playing a ‘lesser opponent or a game with an expected win - they were so casual with their passes and missed opportunities didn’t put away passes. Absolute shambles - Anyone else would have likely beaten the ABs with that attitude - I’m a big Razor supporter but he is missing a few obvious marks (from my couch point of view)

drop ball, couple forward passes but held in there for a win. very similar to previous games at sydney. this coaching group and these players (extended squad ) will get there. wee bit disappointed but that's life. didn't wallace sititi have a good game, backing up from last week. can't wait for the next game.

Agree.. someone needs to either lead by example or remind the pack that big hits are great but way too much time spent on the ground per player supporting on attack or D.... id say Aussie got in and up and out per player better than us overall..... if we're gonna dominate 1-8... physically that's idiotic and simply won't go past 70min !... we aren't big enough vs Frog, Pom, SA or... Oz....that'll wear out any opposition!.... so we play fast etc skills and in control!....65% possession after 60min...big lead... home and hosed !..17 points in a test match....oh no... bigger Aussie Pack runs it down our throat mean while we looking for big hit..... our pack was spent in that last 20min....yet dingo loosies and new lock just did the basics better under the guidence of their phenom queenslander Mcdermott ( replacement 9)... ex skipper..... Aaron Smith would have put a stop to that!... got his back row firing and pushed Guzzler to regain control!... we just played footy.....hanging on barely... no leader in the pack and no Beauden talking strategy .. and giving the pack a spray !..... dumb and lost at sea...

Thats true,That's the quickest way to turn them into world class while they are young and fresh. Like you said, get Lakai to gain more experience he will learn quicker, and AB shouldn't waste any opportunities of selecting players.. 🙏🏼 🎉

Scott Robertson needs to stop calling it footy now that he is coaching rugby at this level, and take some advice from Ian Foster if he hasn’t already. Not sure Ian would have allowed the ill-discipline to continue for as long as it has, and the not scoring in the last 29 minutes thing is about self belief, which I don't think they have under Scott right now.

Right from the start.. Oz made silly mistakes!.... then dumb Rookie errors..... gotta take your hat off to the Aussie Pack !.....then imo Mcdermott best 9 outside of France... drove his fellow Qland 8, 6, 7 and replacement lock beautifully.... our pack folded ... too keen on big hits !.. be keen on seeing the stopwatch for both packs individually.. time spent off the ball on their feet working... id say the AB forwards would be way behind Aussie.... too many committed in a tackle, attempting a jakal or supporting a carrier then on the floor..... or simply no communication!.... Straya did well.....kinda moral victory of sorts.... as anyone would know at a competitive level when the opposition come back like that !.... Aussies aye !.. will never ever quit.... hard country hard people, tough environment to settle in for the sons of bread stealers who have massive tickers.....even if they're from money union college's....or league like Cameron Smith !..looks like he couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag !...yet front on averaged 45 plus tackles per game for 300plus first grade appearances... smart and tough. AB's..... missed Beauden... poor ol dog roll. !..... he can only do so much....and no Smith @9....... no domination from a leader second 40 !
