Welsh fan here. Many All Black fans will hate me saying this but I don't think the key is to try to make an all star flowing attack style of rugby. I think the key is building on the grit & forward dominance that the All Black's have found in the last year. Especially, their tight 5. Massively improve their discipline. Then use this as a springboard to launch more systematic attack style & game management. In attack, I think the key will be to try to build the connection between Mackenzie & Jordan with Telea as another x factor player, Savea as the calm but amazing leader & Barrett as a leader by example- an enforcer. And they could definitely achieve scrum domination if they keep improving. I love Mackenzie as a player but I do think that he is a potential weak link in international knock out rugby. He would need to improve his kicking and improve his overall game management. Especially now that your future NZ team is now missing Beauden Barrett at 15 as second playmaker. Maybe Jordie Barrett can half fill that gap but of course, not to same level. Personally, I really don't think Will Jordan at 15 is a player you can build a team around. He's brilliant in attack, he's exciting but he really needs at least another excellent facet to his game (like kicking, positioning or game management), to be someone who can have a team built around him.

We have very talented guy called Stephen Perofeta He can tackle,run and kick goals.He plays flyhalf and fullback.

Mentally they're off, I think, more than anything. They tend to capitulate when put under pressure. Lots of sides aren't capable of putting pressure on them but the ones that can now know there's a way to beat them.

I love that backline.That backline has X factor in every position. We need get our loose forward trio just right. I wonder if Cullen grace gets a start???

To be fair, Cullen Grace is someone that could get a chance, I personally like him as a 6 option but for Scott Robertson he may decide to go another way

We'll have to see what's done with Cane. It would be a human tragedy for him to get dropped because I can't think of any other player who would be more motivated by redemption than Sam. His staying but losing the captaincy would be tough as well, going from PM to backbencher is always a precursor to retirement.

I 've seen average players blossom under Razor's coaching. I can imagine what Razor can do with underperforming powerhouses like Akira,Hoskins and many others of wich we've not seen the best of yet. Yes we've seen the best of Blackadder,Grace and co at their 100% but to be honest the other guys have been running at 80% and they just need the secret formula from Razor. I always wonder what if a wasted talent like Akira could move to Crusaders under Razor. If outsiders like Halfpenny and O Gara can shop at Crusaders for intellectual property,why not do the same for our own?

it looks like beaudie may be available, I think he could be really useful as an elder statesmen playing 23 for the next 4 years, mentoring the young 10s and closing games out. my biggest concern is second row, not convinced yet by vaa'i or lord, need some new talent. also need to retain frizell. ardie would be my captain

Great team! There’s a lot of depth as well that Robertson can develop or bring up. Burke,McLeod,Love,Grace,Christie, Ennor,Darry,Sotutu,Segner,Clarke,Stevenson,Gallagher,Gardiner, Strange,Asafo. Oh and TJ. I’m wondering if Robertson will come up with some random wildcards that he’ll bring into the squad!

Hey great work. I like your take on availibility. Can I possibly point out one little technical issue. I'm 64 with diminished hearing and I rely a lot on subtitles. Have you ever used subtitles ? they are rubbish and have nothing to do with what you are saying. Now the reason I am relying on subtitles is because you talk too fast and you're not very clear in your diction. I think it is time to look for a replacement for Cane, people are singing his praises because he has had one outstanding game during a 4 year RWC cycle. Apart from that I don't believe McKenzie has what is needed to be an ABs 10 in the big games, sure he has all the flair, but to often he is not on the same page as his team mates. Robinson really needs to persuade NZR to allow him to select Mo'unga even while he is contracted in Japan, and then work with the young up and coming 10s to find the next star.

Mo'unga is one of the reasons the ABs lost the WC final. Mckenzie is lethal. Typical laymans view.

Good side. Obviously you said it’s what you thought Razor would go with…then you say “it’s just that I prefer Telea on the right wing”. Reece is an out and out right wing….but I agree…he’d adapt nicely to the left. And Telea was fantastic on the left wing throughout the World Cup, so I’m not sure why you or Razor would want to change him back to the right at Sevu’s expense. Also are we forgetting how good Narawa was last year and excellent in his AB debut before injury. Sevu will need a big year. Not sure if you mentioned Cullen Grace as well. He will definitely be in the mix. Especially if he gets a good solid run of games. We are so short at #8. ALB might have been who you were thinking by about for that bench spot too….but Razor is a big Ha’avili fan, and is more skilful than ALB.

Thanks for the video. I just feel like the All Blacks have the opportunity to return world class loosie, Ardie to 7 and just back Blackadder, Tom Christie, Papali'i Cullen Grace and Sotutu as the other loosies in the new squad. All these sqiad predictions have just been based on current ABs who will stil be in NZ cime the 2024 tests. Borderline narrow minded. Narawa and Caleb Clarke are still alive as well. Just a thought.

Robertson will be be able to select a small group from over seas if needed . It was signaled when he was appointed, but you had to read between the lines. I predict that he may select Mo'unga and Retallick because there is a massive gap between them and the rest.

We need height in our line out. Josh Lord is 2.02m tall. Samipeni Finau is 1.96m tall and he weighs 115kgs. People need to remember he was awesome for chiefs last year. Because Savea and Cane are not tall.We need tall blindside. Blackadder is not tall enough.

Theres a chance Jordie gets pushed back to 15. And we try out all those 12s.. with ALB, Tupaea, Mcleod and Havili. Because of our lack of depth in our outside backs. Or we keep Jordie at 12 and build his chemistry with Dmac and Rieko.

Hopefully he drops cane and goes for Savea at 7 and Blackadder at 8 or vice versa for that matter. I think someone else at 6 as we need another beast like Frizzell. Then Jordie to fullback (simply because he has the biggest boot in the team) and keep will jordan on the wing or maybe swap them with jodie staying at centre and jordan at fullback as I wouldnt be adverse to seeing jordan at fullback but im not sure he's got a long enough kicking game for it. Id prefer to see us run specialist centres instead of Ioane and Jordie. Will be very surprised if Retallick doesnt see another season or two as vaii isnt international level imo. akira Ioane has got no chance of wearing an AB jersey again imo he's had his shot and we have loads of loosies that are better than him.
