My absolute favorite work by Bach, bar none! AND on the harpsichord, BY Scott Ross! I have recordings of this by Igor Kipnis and Wanda Landowska, but the Ross is splendid. Many, many thanks for posting it.

My favorite work by Bach is the Concerto in D-Minor for two violins, but I think I like this piece the best of his keyboard works. I used to have this on an LP by Kipnis. I think it also had one of the English Suites (Number 2in A-Minor.)

Such a brilliant piece of music, such a brilliant performer. A bit of a pity that this recording is not on the same technical level as his scarlatti recordings; they are a lot more precise in terms of sound engineering.
