I am 33 this year, I was 6 or 7 when creed came out. I lived and grew through that time when you couldn't turn on the TV or flip stations on the radio without hearing them and seeing scott, then SCREAM came out and they used WHAT IF for the soundtrack. Scott's voice and face was everywhere. Then when I was 13 or 14 the band broke up and they like disappeared, I didn't even know what ALTERBRIDGE was till about 2 years ago. I heard Scott's voice for the first time since I was a kid about 3 years ago. And let me say, scott, you ,creed, your sound, your style, your music. Is and always will be a part of who I am. A part of what made me, me. I remember as a kid when arms wide open came out, I was like 11 or 12, I remember thinking, when I have a son, I will play this for him, And sure enough I did. Your music makes me feel better, always has, and I'm so glad your making music and actually getting good exposure and feedback. I stand behind you and support you. Thank you for all you have done and I will forever be a fan. Thank you so much

Wow! Such a good message. Not all suffering is bad. This songs reminds me of this C.S. Lewis quote. "I suggest to you that it is because God loves us that he gives us the gift of suffering. Pain is God's megaphone to rouse a deaf world. You see, we are like blocks of stone out of which the Sculptor carves the forms of men. The blows of his chisel, which hurt us so much are what make us perfect."

What a great quote. I often refer to God as the Master Surgeon. The cuts He makes may hurt us for the moment, but they allow Him to get to the parts of us that He wants to remove so that we can heal and grow into who He wants us to be.

I have fought the same fight. Clean 100% for 27 years. Until you have fought this battle. Do not judge. Every time scott hits a mic. He burns it down. He has written more hits than most bands together. His first solo record was and has always been my favorite music he has ever done. That record was pure healing magic. It came to me when i was down with a depression and there is nothing like fighting suicidal depression clean. There is no wY through that kind of pain but straight through. That record was the blessing. Again thank you scott for just surviving so guys like me can live.
