GVjland,thanks very much for posting this. Great photo montage to go with this great cover! I wish SW would've also recorded his take on "Elephant Stone". According to the late Jeremy Brown (RIP) the Wildabouts did play it a few times in rehearsals, but if a recording does exist, it eludes me. This jam is more than sufficient! Cheers!

Great voice and his presence will be with us through the music he did.i like this version of the song better than the original. Wish his bands would've seen and helped him when he was alive.encouragement to get the help he so rightly needed.

@NoComment-oc6di3 жыл бұрын
I know. .... ive LOVED stone roses since 1988 believe it or not... and singer Ian Brown is by far the weakest link in band... (his voice not his song writing talent obviously)... Cant you imagine if Ian could've sung...or they had a real singer like Weiland ??
@fabfeedback21312 жыл бұрын
Yes!!! They were... even very back in the day (1989). The song Still Remains (which is in the second STP album) was inspired by the Stone Roses. He says so in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/foTTnYSomdqrf5Y
@cdogensis639210 ай бұрын
@@NoComment-oc6di Disagree. Brown is not a technically great singer, live he's frequently atrocious, but in the right environment, his voice has a quality that just suits what the Roses were producing from 1987-9. A 'better' singer would have been good on the Second Coming, but not the first album

Its funny how Scott W has a better voice than Ian B but it totally doesn't serve the song better than Ian B's voice did.

yeah it just sounds generic
@tedstelz4 жыл бұрын
@@andyisdead yeah it's like a muzak version. And the vibrato at the end of each line is tedious. I love most of Scott's stuff, but this falls flat.
