It appears as though he’d had a small stroke at some point, which is not at all unexpected...in his last year or so, his speech was impeded, regardless of drugs or alcohol. It’s difficult to watch him struggle to complete thoughts. An absolute genius, and a kind soul. He has devout fans the world over to remember him well. Thank you all.

@@resistthesystem6145 Just so u know, the antipsychotics he had to take for bipolar disorder can cause these exact symptoms, slurred speech, unable to get your thoughts out properly & stiff jerky body movements. I think he did a great interview tho.

Scott passed away from a broken heart! He wasn't just amazing in the young years. He died an amazing man, but could never achieve the ability to be comfortable, and to never been left alone. He and his addictions/drug use truly was a personally problem. The media and press was one of Scott's largest downfalls. let's try and remember him for what he was, and how much Scott and other members of STP and his other efforts. Scotty we all still love you. I hope that you will be able to rest and be left alone.RJE

His addiction issues maybe led to a lot of people that weren't as talented feeding off him. I know one thing for sure-when stp was firing on all cylinders, there wasn't any band that came close.

it's weird to me that ppl like scott & joey jordison can tell ppl that some of their problems &illness weren't because of drugs & ppl insist that that's what it is like there aren't other reasons why things like that happen. you can get hit in the head to many times & have drastic changes happen to you mentally/emotionally/physically. i know there's a lot of ppl in the industry with drug & alcohol etc... problems but it just seems like it's an excuse that ppl love to throw onto ppl for 1 reason or another.
