He’s so on point. He knew his music would be classic. 30 years later and I cannot get enough. Such a shame how the media hated on him and his battle with addiction.

It's nice to hear Scott before he was so damaged that he could scarcely string a sentence together. He was a smart and very creative and talented guy. He had a gift for melody that no one else comes close to and the textures and timbre of his voice were just crazy. RIP Scott.

Scott was 100% right about the music from the early to mid 90s being considered classic in the future. Glad I was a teenager during that time. Such a great time to grow up in.

This is gold. Thank you for posting this. Scott really was highly intelligent and a thinker. Just makes me love him more. What a tragedy. Wish he was still with us. It’s so sad.

I’ve seen so much footage of Scott and read what people experienced when meeting him. What he says at the end about remaining humble lest his gift be taken away, I really feel like he lived that . He was , by numerous accounts humble and kind to his fans and even the paparazzi. He genuinely respected the music in spite of the challenges he faced amongst the disease of addiction . I always was impressed by how unaffected he was by fame . RIP. My favorite 🖤

When you hear Kurt Cobain final interviews - it's sad, but at least he had a choice to not to live, because he don't want to. But hearing Scott interviews is a lot harder(not particularly this one, there he sounds healthy), but latest years, where you can see & hear, he really want to stay, but his health doesn't allow it.((

Two band mates in the group The Association found out they were banging the same chick and they too laughed about it. They went on to write a song about it called Along comes Mary which was a huge hit.

It's so upsetting to me that these record companies who have the resources to help the people that made them lots of money kick these guys to the curb instead of doing everything they can to help these talented performers. I really miss Scott, he was incredible

Back in the day I thought the name STP was so clever because I thought they were referring to Erich Von Daniken's Chariots of the Gods stuff. You know, like the ancient rock carved temple art from thousands of years ago where it looks like someone is flying an ancient rocket - being like a "Stone Temple Pilot". I was so disappointed years later to hear that the name basically meant nothing to them.
@GlowingOneBright6 жыл бұрын
yep, Scott once made a reference to those temple carvings in an interview. The name's rather weird but intriguing you know? Like it just rolls off your tongue, 'Stone Temple Pilotssss'.

That's not the story of how they met Eric, according to Eric. There was, in fact, an ad in the paper for a drummer and Eric called and they chatted for hours.

@@TammyM36Lol. Because no one has ever lied about their life. 😂. The whole Black Flag story is a lie. Black Flag had already been broken up when Scott claims he met Robert. Not to mention, I've never heard either of them ever talk about the band after that. Scott was always searching for credibility unfortunately instead of just being himself. Notice how long he takes to answer very simple questions. You can practically see the wheels turning
