At first I was going to say he's contradicting himself, saying Pro Tours are less prestigious because of withdrawals and yet he wants more of them. After all I think he has a bit of a point because the more tournaments there are, the higher each player's expected yearly earnings will be from darts (assuming it's not negative per week on tour) and the more likely amateur tour card holders would be to give up their daytime job and then play a full schedule. However, top players are already skipping plenty of tournaments because their calendar is quite full, and if Pro Tours lose prestige (which I actually don't agree with) because of withdrawals/Challenge Tour top ups, it's surely because of the likes of Price/MvG skipping who'd skip even more then and not the tour card holders at the bottom of the rankings who are replaced by players who are certainly not much worse because they have proven themselves on the very tough Challenge Tour. After all, he was one of them last year!
