The genius of the Scott Brothers isn't limited to Jonathan Scott's outstanding command of the keyboards. It includes the choice of great instruments on which to perform, the arrangement of the piece including the choice of organ stops and outstanding sound recording of a hard-to-capture instrument in a difficult acoustic environment. The brothers excel at all aspects of capturing phenomenal performances and preserving them for the ages. Thank you for your gift!

I am going through, with the utmost pleasure, all the videos I can find of The Scott Bothers recordings. The dexterity and the quality of recording is superb. My only regret is that I will never see you guys live (I'm72). I profoundly regret that the Durban (South Africa) Willis organ has been abandoned and neglected by our municipality. It was rebuilt in the 1970's by the son (maybe great grandson) but now is missing pipes (I believe stolen) and is rotting away. I so regret not getting to know the Willis fellow and his family from England living in my flat complex while he was working on the organ because I could have got into the loft and seen all the glory of the magnificent instrument. It wont be long before the casework is chucked out. I weep. I do not have an update of the Pietermaritzburg City Hall organ. Last I heard there was only one guy keeping it tuned and working. Our new culture does not provide for these classics.

Living in an apartment I cannot bring up the volume. Recently invested in some Sony Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones. This has opened up another world. And what an introduction! I must now return to the other Scott recordings and enjoy a thousand fold. Thank you guys. The organ is a very hard instrument to record. I can now even hear the pneumatic opening of the pipes on occasions. Brilliant. Credit to you both and your team as well as the superb organ builders around the world. Sadly where I live, our magnificent Willis organ has been let to decay by the municipality and will probably never be voiced again due to theft of the pipes and "no money" to maintain. I could weep.
