Val'anyr was orignally 239 ilvl and was buffed to 245 with release of TOGC25

I'm working on this with my level 50 shaman. He can clear the whole raid pretty easy, one shots most things except the bosses which take like 3 hits to kill. I've got 21 fragments so far. The hardest part is mechanic of Yogg-Saron where you go down into the room to kill it's brain but first you have to kill a bunch of mobs. And there are three different locations that you can be sent to: Stormwind, and two locations in Northrend. I think it's random which one you appear in. My favorite is the one with the dragons as it is the only one I have succeeded in dispatching everything. If I fail (lose 100% sanity before dispatching everything) it's not really a problem - sure I die but it just takes you back to the entrance area where you can repair your gear and portal back to just outside Yogg-Suron's room and the encounter resets quickly so you can try again. Last time I was there it took me 5 tries before I finally killed the boss. At any rate I hope that throwing the fragments into his mouth will work, never tried that yet, obviously. thanks for the video.

I have a shadowknight on this quest who is stuck on the blood infusion part - don't know anyone who can help her - the quest says it needs her and two others there although I have seen comments where you could get away with using just one extra person (like they'd have to be resurrected at some point to be bitten a second time or something, it's a little confusing). I've thought about getting a second account just to get this done but haven't. there is a trick where you can log in and log out quickly with two characters using F4 that I've read out and tried but it didn't work for me.

wiith the current state of wotlk pvp, im really not sure how i feel about these legendaries lol. There's not enough people playing PvP as it is so you end up facing insane teams at low rating. Also so harrd to find a good mate right now. So what we will have is a race to get this wep and trash everyone then it will plateau after everyone gets it and games going to dampening.

These two are either trolling or guessing. You can just drop the quest and grab it again from the console. Because the fragment gathering quest has already been completed by your character, you obviously don't need to do that part again, and the final quest will be available from the console if you abandon it from your log.

The quest item is in your inventory, regardless of if you have thrown it or not. Like when he said in the video, if you miss you can just throw it again. But if you do wipe, you will have to throw it again (on each attempt, in phase 3, during the shout).

Waste on druid, they have a better weapon in ICC that procs off HoTs, Trauma. Procs on every heal and heals everyone in a 10 yard radius around the proc target. Val should go to Hpally and Resto shaman before resto druid.

I never read the proc properly. In fact I didn't think it was a proc but rather something that was on all the time. I don't feel like a 15 sec proc on a 45 sec CD is that good. You'll proc once at the start of th efight when there is probably little need for it, a little in the middle where maybe things are a bit tougher, and then not have it for when things get really hard

Valanyr will not be good in normal fights. Since it is not needed. During Hardmode progression it comes in very handy because most fights are incredibly long. Yogg 0 Light etc. Also, valanyr is used for the rest of the expansion, throughout the entire ICC raid, the proc is absolutely bonkers good for those fights especially Sindragosa and LK Heroic.
