Yes, but what a highly important wasted pick it turned out. I keep saying over and over...there were so many more important positions that would have helped the Browns. Instead it literally became a wasted pick. Thrown out.

I was "lucky" to go to college near berea at the time and had some teammates that interned at the Browns and tbh Coleman's biggest problem was he was lazy and he thought he was owed so much by the browns given where he was picked. Probably a big indicator of this was the hard knocks moment where he lost reps which was understandable because coaches are trying to light a fire under him and he just wasn't giving any effort and instead of digging deep and grinding he decided to demand a trade when things got remotely hard. That's really the story of his career here. In college he was in a very simple system that benefits receivers with speed with simple route trees. Once he got to the pros and being in Haley's system suddenly he's overwhelmed but that ego he had and zero work eithic doomed him. It also didn't help the culture absolutely sucked under Hue btw and I'm not going to say that didn't play a role however more of it was easily on Coleman.

Here’s a Video Idea that could be fun: The Rise, Fall and Rebirth of the California Golden Bears. Rise in the early-mid 2000s- Future NFL stars with Aaron Rodgers, Marshawn Lynch, Desean Jackson, Justin Forsett, Jahvid Best, Cameron Jordan and more along with the surprise recruiting of Kennan Allen just to name a few. Reached ranked 2 in one of the craziest years of College Football (2007). Fall - The firing of Jeff Tedford and later Sonny Dykes, consistent losing records (1-11, 3-9, 5-7, etc.) but found a gem in Jared Goff. Rebirth - The hiring of Justin Wilcox in 2017. For the 2018 season, Cal upsets #8 Washington State and a comeback victory against USC, giving momentum to back to back bowl appearances with a win against Illinois in the 2019 Redbox Bowl. In that same season, Cal upsets #14 Washington and had their first win against Stanford in the big game in over 10 years, 3 selections in 2020 NFL draft (from Pac 12 defensive player of the year Evan Weaver to walk on star Ashtyn Davis), a top 35 recruiting class in 2020 and at the moment a top 20 recruiting class in 2021.

He was a monster that 2015 year and Baylor would have been really dangerous had him and Seth Russell played together all year. Seth Russell was putting up Joe Burrow TD numbers and Coleman would have broken the single WR record for receiving yards and TDs (TDs by a country mile) in a season. Him and Josh Doctson were some of the best players to watch that year.

Wow, the worst part of it all, is that the Browns picked the 1st reciever in that 1st round draft, and they totally got it wrong. Whoever was responsible for this pick, and whatever made them go for Corey Coleman is trully a mystery. OF all the recievers in the draft, they reached for a guy who had issues with drops throughout his college career, and came from a non NFL type program. Someone in that draft room had to have had doubts. All red flags, and yet he was chosen as the 1st pick by Cleveland browns. How can an organization that is trying to build, make such a risky decision. We're there no bigger needs? Was a reciever absolutely necessary in that 1st round? No other safer prospects in 2nd,3rd, or 4th rounds?
