Awesome, awesome content as usual, Scott, and way to keep me motivated on keeping things simple, no stress! I regret I haven't been as consistent with you as I would have liked, as I was nearly on my death bed back in August and September due to a pulmonary embolism and I have been seeing three different doctors since! Either way, man, I tuned in on and off since your hamstring issue and glad to see you're well. I was 335 since my hospitalization and now at 295lb, 6'6, 32% bodyfat or so, and I'm looking to keep the weight and bodyfat dropping, with 10% being my ultimate goal, any idea on how I should break down my macros, like 1 gram protein per lean mass and the such? I am very smart with nutrition and keeping my full body workouts to 60-90sec in bt sets to keep my heart rate elevated in burning more calories along with cardio, trying to burn 500 calories or so per workout session, and seeking your advice whether I am on the right track? I do see its easier to drop weight and fat easily when obese as opposed to when lean, even though I look lean, lol, because of my height. Furthermore, do you think you'll be able to make a video that obese men, guys over 20% bodyfat can follow, like a workout and nutrition regimen. Often times, many fitness gurus are focused on the lean population and point out to what they should be doing with cuts, maintenance and fat bulks, but rarely do I see anything for the obese population, and I've learned from prior experiences that what lean people do , for e.g. when cutting, we aren't allowed to have refeed or high carb days, which I have tried, are counter productive. I know I wrote a lot and asked for much, which I apologize for, but I really would trust your expertise the most! Thank you very much in advance, Scott, and God Bless!

I'm on "Day 9" of adding the 100 reps/30days challenge for biceps into my regular workouts (While also trying to cut the last 10# of fat so right now I'm at a 500/cal/day deficit). No "soreness" from it in my arms but I definitely feel some strain on the last 20 or so reps each day. Hoping the effort will help when I switch over to eating at maintenance/slight surplus again in another month or so.

Cool stuff man interesting to see what you eat 🤤🤤🤤 I personally just can't eat without tracking my calories. It just bothers me so much even though I know how much it is going to end up on a rough estimate. So I just keep track on it and I don't break that habit 😤😤😤. What is your opinion on doing a nuclei based training for abs and obliques? I would like to experiment with it so I am going to try it out for the next month👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@ScottHermanFitness4 жыл бұрын
Nothing wrong with tracking your calories daily my friend, as long as it works for you! You can absolutely do Nuclei Overload Training for abs. I would do it with something more challenging that just regular crunches, like maybe an ab pulldown and a standing oblique crunch with weight!
@abdulrahmaniskan72674 жыл бұрын
@@ScottHermanFitness Yeah I will do my reps with weights thanks for reminding me. I am on a strict cut right now that's why I felt like I wanted to try out abs and obliques first. I know that as I am on a cut the muscles won't grow but since I will get very lean which is my goal that should really emphasize the definition I am aiming for and after that they might grow faster when I start lean bulking again.

For reference, following the final macros shown on 19:04 with those macros the calories would be 2,153, while i believe the calorie counting may not have been accurate. It goes to show that you really do not need to hop on 3000 and 4000 calorie diets, Scott is an average height guy 5'10, and you can see by his physique is very impressive and built, but he's only eating around 2000-2500 calories. Do not go overboard with your diets people.

Hi, I have a highly sensitive body. I have tried bulking and I gained a lot of muscle. BUT, my body can't really handle too much meat and carbs, I also have multiple allergies and sensitivity for food. Can I still build muscle? Will I gain? I don't care if it would go slow. Working out is good for body and mind.

Had a doubt and would appreciate if you could answer it. When doing our overhead barbell press or dumbbell shoulder press should we let our traps go up as well or should we try to keep them down so that more tension is applied to the front deltoid? Would appreciate your insight.(asked the same question on the angry bald man's videos but he didn't answer or heart the comment while answering all the other drama related comments,hoping you'd clarify this question)
@ScottHermanFitness4 жыл бұрын
The traps will elevate a little bit when you go full ROM, but it shouldn't be much. What I mean is you should go to a full extension, but you shouldn't be "shrugging" once you get to the top of the movement. Hope that makes sense!
