Being there live when the starting lineup was introduced was *the* most electric experience I can ever remember. You could hardly hear the PA announcer amidst the cheering and applauding once the first Bulls player ran out on the court. When MJ stepped out.....everyone (the 20,000+ inside the United Center) was cheering and roaring at the top of their lungs, with hundreds of camera flashes going off per second for about a good 10 seconds.......what you would see on TV was *nothing* compared to being there......it was an absolute pleasure and privilege to have experienced it.

@AHMAD-23247 жыл бұрын
darockk IMO Bcuz these player's today lack the mental toughness of those players from yesterday. Now I agree they're more athletic and whatnot. But as basketball player's knowing how to play the game from a mental aspect most not all just don't have it. And the defences are horrible nowadays. Just watch it sometimes players just galloping down the lane for easy dunks all the time. As a fan I'm just not pleased with the product on the floor from a competitive stand point!
@AHMAD-23247 жыл бұрын
darockk And you know like I do most of the time's. When you're watching a video of Jordan you see him easily scoring all the time. That's true I agree with that, But it's mainly because... 1. He couldn't be stopped and 2. Bcuz his peers were in so much in awe of him... Joe Dumars and Dominique Wilkins said that about him. That you found yourself watching him most of the times and forgot that you were competing against him!!
@Wis_Dom7 жыл бұрын
Players are not more athletic. I don't think casual young fan boys understand what "athletic" even means, they just quote ESPN. I still haven't seen ONE player today do that layup that Jordan did on the nets. NOT ONE! And how can players who don't even play defense be more athletic when they are not even playing both sides of the court?

He more famously abused Bryon Russell and Ehlo, but in terms of sheer amount of abuse, I don't think he abused anyone more than Alan Houston. This game, for example. The 51 pt game against the Knicks. His last game with the retro shoes in MSG as a Bull. Wis Dom no 1 is jordan if jordan had that cavs team last night they would of been champs is not just how you play but how you intimidate someone jordan would of had curry or igi very nervous and this opening theme with bulls never gets old from north carolina michael jordannnnnnnnn

^ it's more than that. LeBron had the warriors scared the whole series. Cavs were just tired and undermanned

Listen without Jordan's game there is no Kobe's game! EVERYONE WHO EVER WATCHED BASKETBALL CAN SEE THAT KOBE MIRRORS JORDAN. HE HAS GOTTEN JORDANS MOVES DOWN TO A SCIENCE. KOBE HAS EVEN ADMITTED THAT HE HAS MIRRORED JORDAN'S GAME. THE PROBLEM IS YOU GUYS MAKE IT OUT TO BE A CRIME THAT KOBE PLAYS LIKE HIS IDOL. YOU GUYS CAN MIMICK YOUR FAVORITE GUITARIST BUT KOBE CAN'T MIMICK HIS IDOL, COME ON GUYS GIVE KOBE A BREAK. JORDAN MAY BE HIS IDOL BUT KOBE IS DOING HIS OWN SCORING AND HAS WORKED HARD ENOUGH THAT HIS GAME IS SOLID AND LEGIT! KOBE WILL NEVER MATCH JORDAN'S SPEED, STRENGTH, INSIGHT, AND WILL BUT HE COMES CLOSE ENOUGH THAT HE HAS GARNERED ATTENTION. GIVE KOBE HIS PROPS BECAUSE HE EARNED THEM BUT FOR ALL YOU KOBE FANS THAT SAYS KOBE IS GREATER THAN JORDAN, YOUR WRONG AND YOU KNOW YOUR LIVING A LIE!

I don't think people mock Kobe for trying to imitate as many Jordan signature moves as he can. I think they make a fun of Kobe because he tries to do EVERYTHING LIKE JORDAN ON AND OFF THE COURT. Speaking, Walking, Mannerisms etc.

At the time MJ's Bulls owned the Pistons during the 90's. The Pistons only won 6 regular season games against the Bulls from 1991 to 1998. Highlight of it is 19 game winning streak against the Pistons from 1993 to 1997.

MrBlee7 lebron cant even play like this jordan not only beat you with scoring he beat you with intimidating you and not been friendly with every player in the nba like all this guys are now lebron ruin the game in the aspect of everyone been friends with each other and everyone teaming up with each other like jordan said in my prime it never cross my mind to call larry or magic and ask them if i could play with them he said i wanted to beat them and i know larry and magic had same mentality i would give you more thumbs up if i could but my computer only allows 1 from me i got an idea

Lol, I love 6:57. Jordan will even fade away infront of the basket. That is serious. That is when the pistons should have just packed it up and called it a day.. That is pure humiliation..
