Interesting story, it’s a pity I couldn’t see Richard’s intro, too dark. Could have done with a light shinning at him.👍

I have enjoyed your historical preen stations since way back when you were on "Most Haunted". Your histories were the best part of that series. So glad to find your KZbin channel.

I've been to Greyfriars. The one area was locked when I was there. I haven't been to Edinburgh in many years, so I don't know if it's still locked or not. Perhaps, whenever I make my way there again, I'll see if it is. Will I go in if it's open? I decide at that time. Oh, and I must add. I really liked the "ghost" you talked to in Inverness! Quite the storyteller!!

Thank you! I live near St Andrews and it’s always a treat to see Fife on the net or tv. Learned a few things I’ve never heard before. I’ve dined in the Inn at Lathones a few times. While I’ve never seen or experienced anything paranormal there, it definitely has a unique atmosphere and you can just feel the energy it has.

cherrythescot We live in Fife and my husband took me there for an overnight stay for my 50th. During the night he woke to see a young female standing in the corner stating at me as I slept. He closed his eyes and opened them then turned over and turned back and she was still there. Eventually be fell back to sleep and when he next awoke she was gone. I slept through everything but felt steeped out when he told me. My husband doesn't make stuff up.

we stayed at The Inn at Lathones in 1825 while visiting St Andrews. we didn't see any ghosts or anything like that but some bastard stole the hubcaps off our horse & cart.

I like how you tell the stories. These videos are simple and that's the best way. Many haunted documentaries use all sorts of lense filters, flashes and fast motion edits which are too distracting. Nice to see natural color instead of the green night vision also.

It's sad to me that Scotland's fighting and wars obscures so much of the better aspects of it. Even with ghosts; England for instance gives you plenty of vicious massacres and murders, but Scotland was fighting for freedom. Just gloss over all the clan deaths. There are lots of fascinating ghost stories that don't have to do with swords. It brings a sameness to every video about it. This is a wonderful series overall, though.

I must point out that amongst the English forces, there were Scotish soldiers, from the low lands, and particularly the Cambels. There may have been Irish contingenies. There mayalso been French involvement. So it would be not be correct to say the battle was between the english and the scots.

That Scottish battle the last ever battle on British soil was decided before it began LOL. 12000 to 4000 hmm not good. Charles Stuart should have given up saved his men foolish man.
