"The only necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." Edmund Burke. United 93 is a perfect example of this quote. Rest in piece brothers and sisters.

I still can't imagine being one of the people on that flight who realized they were facing certain death, stood tall and made their death mean something.

I was 7.5 and my mom decided to homeschool that year. We had taken my little sister for her 1st haircut that day. It was a beautiful day with blue skies as we drove past all the horse farms to my grandparents house for lunch. Suddenly my mom pulled over and exclaimed in shock at the radio. She turned it off. Prayed silently (we hadn't heard the radio) & continued to grandma's house with no radio (not normal for a family with 4 kids). We got to the house and my grandparents huddled around the kitchen TV with my mom. My dad picked up my brother's from school & we met at grandma's. No one would tell us littler ones what had happened, but we're all history bluffs. Even at 7, I knew it was odd for my generation to never have known true war being declared. I made my way to a different TV set and I turned it on by myself & watched the newscast as it kept updating. I remember reporters choking up & not having words to say. I remember my brain saying at 7 yr old "This is the next Pearl Harbor." "My generation can't say any longer that we've lived a life with the U.S. not being at war." "This is what war looks like." I lived 40minutes from Philadelphia then and I now live farther away but live closer to Shanksville, PA where flight 93 crashed bc the regular passengers took over the plane so it would fail it's mission. I married into a family that knew one of those heroic passengers.

Beautiful song. Everyone on that flight deserves our Presidential Medal of Freedom. They didn't even know who and what they were saving, they just knew they would not die victims and take other innocents with them. Flight 93 gets me every time. #Nomoretalkin #United93

After 20 years, and time has passed, it still hurts and the sadness for those who lost theirli lives in this cowardly act of terrorism. My blood still boils. We will never forget.... they are all heroes on flight 93

Amen, beautiful song indeed. "Let's Roll." The last words heard before the phones went dead. I will always remember that too. Those people on Flight 93 are true heroes. Sad way to die, and not make it home. But they died fighting back against a bunch of a holes who were just worthless animals. I had a coworker I knew who at the time was a Sargeant Major in the US Army who lost friends in the Pentagon.

A lot of the attention is focused on the towers as so many died there, I’m glad those on the plane are recognized like this, Darryl Worleys song Have You Forgotten includes the plane and pentagon too

It gladdens me to know people haven't forgotten but is bittersweet that people from other nations have more respect and love for the U.S then it's own citizens. Keep up the great work man.

I have never heard this song before, but it is beautiful and heartfelt. Love and respect for those heroes, and all who lost their lives that terrible day. And respect for all who felt the call to serve after that.

That was a lot tougher to watch than I expected. That heart to help others is the soul of America, the soul of every Christian nation, and it is currently being savaged to satisfy one weak man's ego.

I went to the site where the plane went down. These people took back the plane from terrorists n crashed into the field in PA away from people on the ground. . They loved America n wanted to end this. They think this plane was headed to the Capital or White House in DC. Alot of them were able to call lover ones to say goodbye n they loved them. I think the one guy ended up saying "let's go". I was afew miles from Pentagon when the one plane hits the earth shook. I thought it was an earthquake. The traffic stopped n people came out of their cars crying.
