You'll love it! It's an awesome route. I've done it a couple of times now and I don't think you can ever get tired of it. Try keeping an eye out for the good weather... this can make all the difference.

I think the back way into Applecross is the best route, OK so the roads a bit gnarly in places and if you're tired after riding far too many miles over the previous it makes it pretty hard work, but, when you crest the top, oh boy, what a view.

It was a gorgeous view, the good weather was a massive bonus!... imagine it on an icy morning in the dark..

@davemetcalf8431 I wasn't going to do the pass tbh, everyone kept saying how good it was and I thought yeah yeah, anyway, riding down from Ullapool I turned down the same road you rode, got to the parking space at the top and thought, yeah, pretty crap. Then I crested the top. Stunning

@@joebloggs1317 I loved the hole of the NW of Scotland... I'll have to buy a different bike and do it again! I'd probs miss the NE coast, and just spend my days island hopping on the NW.
