SCOTTISH SALMON FISHING AT ITS BEST!🐟 🎣

Salmon fishing in Scotland has to be up there as the Pinnacle of fishing. Actually catching a Scottish Salmon in Spring IS ANOTHER MATTER! Iw as lucky enough to head on to The River Annan in South West Scotland and try again in my quest for an Spring Salmon.
Asa you might be able to tell I finally managed it.....Hope you enjoy an unbelievable morning fishing and quite a funny fight. IF YOU CAN'T TELL MY EXCITEMENT, GIVE YA HEAD A WOBBLE!

Bonny fish, nicely done. | have fished The Annan higher upstream two separate weeks without success. I once fished The Lune in August and it was bloody freezing. Another guy was fishing the same beat and he says to me " Wish I had a pair of neoprene waders on like you". I replied "Yeah, that'd be good, but not this pair, they've got a bloody hole in 'em!".

Admittedly the braid is 40ib as it’s my Pike reel and I only had 25ib fluro 😂 but to caveat that, it means if you get snagged you can pull through a lot of stuff etc! But I do recommend you chill out abit mate million ways to skin a cat 😂
