Incredible film , Assad history of what’s all gone ,the film of the weymss colliery railway is fascinating ,a system all on its own ,we had one in my home town Sunderland ,The lambton rail system linking collieries to staithes and docks ,these systems had their own works and foundries ,they were all over the country ,looking forward to more gems ,thank you.

I could be wrong but when the Michael colliery at East Wemyss closed following the fire, the Lochead colliery at Coaltown of Wemyss was still in production. The WPR was still running but it just wasn't economical to service the one remaining pit. My Grandfather worked at the pit as a blacksmith.

I live in Milnathort and have become very interested in the railway station that Milnathort used to have. I've acquired many photos of the old railway station, but I've been searching (desperately) for any moving images of the station as it was. Are you aware of any films of Milnathort railway station?
