Beautiful day. 20c is the perfect temp if you ask me. Hitting the high 30s in Australia right now wi a 40c day forecast on Sunday. Love that area , I think I could retire there for sure. Been a bit o bad press again lately aboot the locals crying foul wi the lack of property available for local folk. I just don't know if expats moving there is the real issue or not but I'm sure it has some impact. Anyway looks mint there, I'd be up for a swim nae bother. Grand indeed

@ScottishCoupleInSpain the sun goes up 08.45 and down 15.05 (3,05 pm) here about 400km north of Malmö. I'm not that far north. Sweden is about 1600 km from south to north. About equal Malmö to Roma. 21st december is the winter solstice (longest night in the year), then the days slowly begins to be longer. Cheers!!

Ps hottest part generally of that area/region is Murcia city ? Shows as 23 sun whereas Alicante shows as 21

Alicante as a city is nicer and better than whole of Tenerife south , which is more or less a tourist city now - agree? Thoughts ?

Totally agree. Alicante has so much going for it, loads to do, plus it’s on a beach. Can’t beat it

@ we are on the same wave length amigo , fellow Scot 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 . Have you considered trying Las Palmas city ? Did a 2 week holiday and weather is more or less always good and does have the authentic vibe. Probably not as nice as Alicante in terms of charm tho but a cracking beach 🏝️
