I dunno about the relationship being abusive, but she was certainly used, her mum should have been prosecuted for allowing a sexual relationship with a much older man and he should have been prosecuted as well. If my 14 year old daughter was having a relationship with a 47 year old man, I would have went straight to the police, but her mum probably approved of the relationship because of the pound signs, even stranger is that Mandy's mum went on to marry Wyman's son. Weird.
