I lived in Philly when Charles played for the 76ers and he caught holly &&&& on the talk radio shows back then, people of Philly are-VERY-vocal with their critiques, criticisms and don't hold back,at all. But,Barkley did say out-landish things to the media in order to get traded from the 76ers,so,finally the owner let him go.This is when he ended up with the-SUNS-Barkley wanted to contend for a championship and he did with Phoenix, but, ended up losing to the Bulls.

I love the way the chemistry is so constant throughout this whole exchange. She clearly legit thinks he's an a-hole, he clearly is one and hasn't fully accepted how much of one he is. But he's also masterful at keeping the dynamic fresh and knows his talent. He admires her for saying it which increases his attraction to her, she has enough charm and respect for him that she regards him just enough to keep things electric. She challenges him to up his charm game to max levels, not letting him get away with cheap jokes and effusive flirting. She's simultaneously challenging and coy. It's just perfect.

Cher's body language says a lot. At the start of the interview shouting distrust, arms folded is a big indicator, leaning back, sitting away in the chair, her body almost turned away and shoulder up, laughter is a camouflage in a way, it looked like she wanted to sit in the furthest chair when she came close, yea not good vibes. Cher is everything! 🥰 I love her on Letterman, during all her visits she sure gave Dave a good ol' tough time - always tounge in cheek . 😂 I love her honesty and how she wraps it up in her sense of humor. This woman has achieved so much, and I will never stop admiring her for being the most amazing chick I ever had the pleasure of briefly meeting. We never talked, but I felt as if my life was complete just being in her presence 🤩I grew up thinking she was the coolest thing - I still do.

Cher was radiantly beautiful at 40. I so wish she believed it. ❤ Suspect was a great movie-- Liam Neeson played the Suspect. Fabulous film -- don't know if it holds up 35 years later, but I saw it twice in the theater.

Astonishing that of all the things he could have talked about he chose these topics : 1. Perfume 2. Tattoos 4. His view of her view of him 5. Sonny and Cher 6. Movies and acting 7. Himself and himself… Such a banal list of topics - could he not talk about anything of substance that she could share her obvious talent and intelligence?! - such as her life and history and influences on her voice development and interests in music and theatre and movies and topics that underpin good voice and music? Cher is just so great. She has rarely been fully appreciated!

Cher and Madonna (later on) both threw Dave for a loop, but Cher still came off as likable and warm. (Madonna was just obnoxious.) Both instances made for good television, but I ended up liking Cher a whole lot more afterwards.

This was fun. She's great here, and proved to be a formidable actress over the years. I was taken aback however with her reaction about Sonny. "Meh" I thought they had remained good friends thru the years. Her true feelings obviously shone through in her heart-wrenching eulogy to him after his death.

Took them as a couple, quite a while to understand that the initial love they had was still there. Truly their business but it is Cher and Sonny and we got to share in their acceptance of the love they had for each other. Frankly, once you have a child with a man that bond is still there after a divorce and life goes on. Only exception becomes if the Dad does not do right by the child and deal with his kid with love. Sonny did that. At the end game they knew that idea and I think Cher truly mourned his passing. Life is complicated and you can't explain it with one "sit down" with someone. who is a stranger like Dave was to Cher, . even if you are Cher.
