I was lucky to see them several times in the US. GREAT show, unforgettable all these years later. Had the aisles full with people dancing, even though it was just this lineup and an upright player. Fantastic, and RIP James.

They are a good live band, I saw them playing many times busking on the streets of Glasgow as I made my way down to the Barras market

I used to sit and smoke hash with the tall guys brother John. Or big John as we called him. He always used to tell us kids about them .

The original was Bobby Helms. It was on one of the rare rockabilly albums that all the young rockers had. With Grady martin lead guitar.

I seem to remember seeing them busking on Argyle Street at the weekend as I headed for the Barras market, I think it was them, also remember seeing Jerry Sadowitz doing shows on the same street.
