You should do Money Ties - it is a great song/video. But the kicker is that he used a producer called Nayz. Nayz had contacted Ren to tell him that he had had the exact same problems with Kujo. In a piece of poetic justice Ren gave Nayz the exact same deal he had offered to Kujo i.e. an original song split straight down the middle. Cold. Beautiful.

❤❤❤ Love the reaction. 😊 The best result was another producer who got screwed over by kujobeats contacted Ren during all this and offered to help with the beat down, but Ren thought that it should be a 100% Ren creation. Ren then Offered Nayz the same deal that he offered kujobeats - A full 50/50 split of everything and they created the song "Money Ties." There are community posts on Rens' youtube from both Ren and Nayz about the song. 😊 I think that song should be next. ❤❤❤ Btw it was Album of the year for 2023 in the U.K. not of the week. 😊

You kind of murdered the explanation... but you got to basically the right end poing so I guess that's okay 😅 ...Except for one thing. The Sick Boi video is back on KZbin but the song is still down from all platforms. Because Ren pulled it down himself to get rid of the ability to extort him as well as stop Kujo from making more money off it. So you can no longer legally buy Sick Boi digitally, the digital albums are down the song unless you bought it previously *and* downloaded your purchases. You can get the hard copy while the supply exists.

The Beat Farm was responsible for paying Kujo Beats his share after Ren had paid them for unlimited use. At one point Kujos girlfriend was going online trashing Ren, saying he was a liar, showing on a reaction channel a fake copy of a contract she had created that was not at all like the original . Because Ren posted the information about the situation for his fans because they all wanted to know why the SicBoi song had vanished. Kujos girlfriend contacted Ren and threatened to come to the UK and break his knees.

Through all this, Ren was contacted by another producer (@nays) that Kujo had screwed over. Ren invited @nays to produce this dis track but later decided that this was something that had to be "pure Ren" to show that Ren didn't need a producer. So Ren instead did the deal he had offered Kujo but with @nays - "Money Ties" is produced by @nays and he gets 50% of the master, publishing, and so on. Nays says Ren did tweak it and did do a lot of the production work, but didn't take any credit - he let @nays get all the credit. I think you should definitely show Cristal that part of the saga.

Ren DID put out his version of a Beat Down Part 2, but it was done so subtly that some people might have missed the connection to the Beatdown or might not have seen what Ren said when he released it. After Kujo Beat Down, Ren released a song in honor of his sister’s birthday called Money Ties. Part of it tells the story of his sister being born, which ultimately made their family richer, pointing out that people are worth far more than gold. 😍 It’s also a song about greed,and the ways it can hurt us all. 😉 The song features a producer named @nayze, who like Ren, had a problem with KujoBeats back in the day, which upset @nayze so much that he stepped back a bit from making music. He contacted Ren when he heard about the issue with Sick Boi & Ren decided he wanted to give @nayze the offer that Kujo had foolishly turned down. He didn’t want to use Kujo Beatdown as the collab, so instead they created Money Ties. 💜🎶 It was a win-win for them and a win for all of us fans as well. In a way, it ended up being like the Dotta diss, because he did lift someone up at the end, it just wasn’t Kujo. 😸🎹💜

Sick boi 2 always existed, well before any of this drama! Ren was going to do a remake of sick boi (the first one) with his own beat but the same lyrics. Partly because of a relapse in his health, plus his video going back up on KZbin (and I presume, on oing legal actions (maybe) he has never remade it (as of yet)

@ True! I was referring to a Part 2 to Kujo Beatdown, but the good news is there was also another version of Sick Boi supposedly on its way, with all of Kujo’s input removed. He was able to get the original put back on KZbin but apparently never has been able to hammer out financials. Everything got delayed when his health took a nosedive, plus he had issues with his laptop that caused more delays. Either way, I’m just happy whenever we get new Ren, no matter what it is. 💜💜

I’m not bashing you but I think your position that “most people missed it” is patently incorrect. Most people know about Ren’s collaboration with Nayze because he was originally considering having him produce the beat for Kujo Beat Down but determined that since Sick Boi was such a personal track to him he wanted to handle it entirely himself. And it was very much public knowledge that Money Ties was produced by Nayze and the whole story was part of Ren’s feed and all over his Reddit channel

@ That’s cool. I don’t check up on Reddit, but I’m very glad it got discussed there! It’s a great story & I’m glad @Nayze got some attention. Ren mentioned the story here when it first came out but since he wasn’t feeling great then, it didn’t get a lot of promo. I’ve seen some reactors & commenters say it was produced entirely by Ren. I love your reactions with friends but I need to say that it is the Sick Boi Album that topped the UK ALBUM CHARTS In October 2023 a huge achievement for an Independent artist like Ren replacing Drake and 80s Rick Astley as number 1 by over 6000 units. Also he put the album songs out whilst receiving brain damage treatments surgery and daily i v treatments in Canada. I think it’s because you’ve called it ‘album of the week’ a few times (I noticed on another video), which makes it sound like ‘employee of the week’ at Burger King or something. No, it was the actual #1 selling album in the UK, equivalent of topping the Billboard 200 in the US. No big deal though. Your enthusiasm for Ren and imaginative ways of bringing people in to enjoy him is really great. Keep up the good work… 👍

I really like your videos but my one critique is that you give her the analysis before she has the opportunity to digest it. Specific example when you tell her about the Hi Ren aspect of the inner dialogue. I think it’s more fun to let them experience it and let them dictate the pauses etc and then see what they have missed and shed light on it after the fact. Just one guy’s opinion but not coming from a negative place, just something to consider

@@qwerkyreax in case you weren’t aware, you probably are but I like to point it out in case, Ren doesn’t copyright strike any reaction videos to his content and he owns all of his content (with very few exceptions) my understanding is that if KZbin ever strikes you you can reach out to Ren directly and he and his team will clear it up for you

It can take more than a week sometimes, so while the video gets the bulk of its all time views in that first week, Scott is losing out on that bulk of the monetization, and KZbin doesn’t pay for what could have been during lost time haha

You're far too invested my friend, this was the longest 44 mins of my life, you massively over complicated this imo. I see a few others have also commented,if youre going to scrutinise these songs then maybe do some research first coz a lot of what you said is wrong im afraid! Over compicating explanations will lead to mis information. It wasnt album of the week at all, sick boi made no1 album in the UK charts full stop! He doesnt say monetise in the lyrics, he says commodotise it! Shall i go on?! Keep it simple mate!
