We absolutely LOVED our time at Scotts Bluff National Monument! If you missed last week's video where we shared our campground during the week and other things we did in the area, you can watch it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/poi6Y3uufKd4jNk . Have a great week! We can't wait to share the Summit Trail hike with you next Sunday! Oh my goodness, what a hike!

Nebraska sure shines in this episode! Who knew Studebaker made wagons? Awesome. Love the OT history.. I have been to areas where you can see the ruts from the wagon trains, nothing like seeing and being there. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures! Can’t wait to see the hike!

LOVE this video of your ongoing journeys. Thank you so much for sharing your travels. FYI you’re in my home state this time. I was in northeast Nebraska, near another river (Missouri). I remember taking the drive to Scott’s Bluff as a kid, imagining what it might have been like to walk that distance behind oxen and wagon, seeing the bluffs get a little closer day after day. Glad to see it so well maintained. What a fun tour. Keep them coming!

Just north of you is Fort Robinson, and the wildcat hills. This is also a great place laden with history. I don't know your itinerary but it would be well worth your time. Chimney Rock, Court House, and Jail House Rock are east of you. Both very important landmarks on the Oregon trail. You guys are doing a great job on these videos, and look like you are have a great time doing it.

Thanks for the video my family is from Scottsbluff. We live in Echo Oregon now and the Oregon trail passed by 4 miles north of my house now. Scottsbluff is named after Hiram Scott. And a friend of ours is married to his great great granddaughter. And the also and they live out here in Hermiston Oregon. Plus my grandpa carved his name on the top of chimmy rock when he was a kid

Wish I had known you were in the area in July, I would have mentioned some of the area’s highlights for you to see. Maybe next time, cuz it really is a pretty area, rich in history too. I just happen to have a big driveway with 50 amp hookup as well. We snowbird in AZ and our friends stop by and stay when they’re headed home before summer. Just planting an idea for free camping 😀

We didn't realize this park was so nice! On our US travel map, we don't have the Nebraska sticker but have all the surrounding states because we didn't know that there was such a great park in Nebraska! Now I know we can fill in this state sticker by spending a few days near Scott's Bluff. Thanks for this video! @BigDogRV
