Thanks, all. "Part 2" is almost done, 24 minutes long, and 75% of it is demos! It should be a good one.

I love that screatchy leather sound too. Sample it. And give it a varispeed treat :)

I got the “official” ReVox remote from eBay, they show up from time to time but are $$$. Expect prices to be around $200 USD. If you can score one for less, consider yourself lucky! 😅 I made the circuit shown in Part 1 of this series for far less. If you aren’t familiar with electronics, soldering, circuit diagrams and schematics etc., this could be a challenge and I wouldn’t recommend it. In your case, I think the official varispeed remote will work with a PR-99. It won’t be cheap, but will be easiest if you wait for one of those to show up on eBay or similar. “Reverb” is a decent site specific to music gear. Roughly $200 USD is common for this thing, I’m afraid. A current listing at time of writing... reverb.com/item/22130794-revox-pr99-b77-variable-speed-remote-1985-silver I decided to build my own version of it for much less, but I also managed to find an official one online and I’m going to try it on my A77 later. For my DIY version, I used a slightly different 5-pin plug and connector in my case, but the official one has a 4-pin “DIN”-style connector. Part 1, if you’re curious: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXKqZmV6q8uLmdk I also have part 2 which is mostly demos, should be linked from the description of this video.
