Scottsdale Arabian Horse HA/AA English Pleasure Championship

This is Class 352 for the Half Arabian / Anglo Arabian English Pleasure championship! It was held in front of a packed, energetic crowd for the big Saturday night special event at the Scottsdale show.
The English pleasure class is a showy, elegant competition that is really pleasing to watch.
The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show is the largest Arabian horse show in the world held over 11 days in Scottsdale, Arizona! And the evening show held on the 2nd Saturday of the show is always sold out.

I thought the girl with the bay looked more of a pleasure to ride, but the big blaze chestnut really had that Wow gate. Both were placed respectively. Thank you for sharing.

These gaits look so comfortable to ride. The chestnut with the wide blaze and blue browband was outstanding. What stunning horses. Arabians are my favourite breed. 🐎

Can you imagine what a cross between an American Saddlebred and an Arabian would produce? What an incredible show horse that would make!!!❤❤❤

Yes, for sure! American saddlebred is actually a very common cross and I'm guessing some of the ones in this class were half saddlebred.

That was popular in the late 90's early 2000. They called them National Show horses. Individually, they are each incredible, unique breeds. I love them both, as they are.

Yes. Canter is a three beat gait whereas a gallop is a four beat gait.

Yes, it is actually pretty similar to a Tennessee walker horse class.

That canter is a 3 beat stride and the hand gallop should have a 5 beat stride and should be much faster.
