I would deff get a Holley black fuel pump for sure sounded like you was running out of fuel under load. I run one on my duster an it is a 493 stroker motor they are good for 900 horse power

So I would check RCD or RBS Superchargers for a better idler setup might be a little pricey but 10x better than running off the snout of the blower

I would’ve ran it myself to see what it’d actually do, your dad’s charger would’ve been a cool one to take to it too. I love your dad’s charger, that thing is sweet but I’m partial to the 68 chargers.

I like that cuda but I don't see any rolling around. Which is a shame. I see to many chargers and challengers. Which is alright that just makes me like the cuda a little more. Great work

68 front end with 69 tail lights. Does that mean it is a hybrid? The 68 charger has Mastercraft tires on it. Where did he get those Canadian tire tires in Kansas?

Tires were from ebay, and the 69 stuff bolted right up with minor modifications. I can't afford 68 barracuda tail lights and the tail panel trim

Can you put that Tensioner Pully on the Out side of the Belt ?and See if it holds like that or is the Belt to long to try that and if it works well I am Sure itis good for 500 Horse power Yeahhhhhhhh

What the heck happened once it hit second gear??? Running outa fuel? Time for some 10an line and run a 250 lph walbro pump in the tank to the regulator up front and run 6an return line and you won’t have any more fueling probs.!! And always nice Fresh fuel always feeding the reg which feeds the carbs.. also never have to worry about having enuf fuel pressure again!! And u have extra for more power adders.. 😈bad ass!!

why does your dads beautiful restored 68 charger sit under a open lean tube on his property and your barly at all cuda sit in a safe garage your dads car should be in there

@KeithInskeep because the race car belongs to both dad and I, and with the open engine compartment, and the slicks, it is better for that car to be shielded that a street car. Dads Charger has actual weatherstripping sealing the car up, whereas the race car has zero. Also the changes and temperature and any sunlight directed at the slicks will make them deteriorate faster, and those are not cheap. I see where you are coming from, ultimately the real answer is simple. My Dad likes seeing his Charger every day when he gets home from work and when he leaves for work
