Scott you need to realize that the whole point of a secret hideout is to avoid buying permits!
@raresage.9 ай бұрын
But to avoid permits you must build it discreetly and if you want a real big secret hideout, you'll need some serious skills or connection. Collin Furze has an awesome series building his secret bunker and tunnel plus now underground garage and lift system. He had actually had worked in it without a permit for quite a bit I think and genuinely was quietly making a secret tunnel. He of course had to get it permitted at some point since hes broadcasting it but its an awesome series about his tunnel and bunker

This reminds me of the guy that built a castle behind his home. Hid it with hay bales. The laws of where he was said if a structure is there for "X" amount of years he didn't need one. So he tried to hide it until the time came where he could just have it. Sadly he was found out before he got his own castle.

One of my favorite underrated secret hideouts is technically more of a house but we're chillin so thats fine: Ronald's house from The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald. Basically all of the live-action segments & the opening theme takes place throughout the house, and its straight up whimsical. Even better, they basically always exited the house by jumping into a ball pit that turned into a magical slide that transformed them into animation; which is really cool. And you just know Ronald got the permits, he's friends with Mayor McCheese.

Another great hideout - from an oldie, so bear with me - is the tree from Disney's Gummi Bears (a show from ~the 80s, if I remember right). They had a whole underground tunnel system & rollercoaster, a lake skylight, and lore scattered throughout. It was an awesome show to grow-up on!
