Don't know how you manage to scout out these locations, get unique trains on them and do them both with perfect lighting and weather! 👍

The autumn colors certainly helped out especially where the crossing is over the other rail line. I don't even remember hearing about this company but thanks for finding it and photographing it. Looks like in its day it was quite the mill but comparatively few buildings remain

The drone angles and flat light make it look like a model layout. Nice shots of operation.

Scott, This is one of your best videos! Really nice views and editing. I swear the aerials look like a model train layout. These aerials really show us how to model ground cover with all of the different colors and textures. Question. Why is that white van following the train?

Pretty cool Scott. You get your film some neat stuff up there.

Gorgeous horn!! Thank you for the share

I see there are no ditch lights on the front of 54. Also, I see the long hood end is designated the "F" end, which probably means the ditch lights are on that end. Enjoyed the video, although the dubbed audio loop of the same horn blowing over and over was a little tedious. Thanks.

Great video! I love short line operations and switching operations. Too bad about all the graffiti on freight cars these days. I don't understand what makes people think it's OK to deface other people's property.

What about model railroads, do they count?🤷
@ScottTaipaleRail3 ай бұрын
@@davidballoid2118 haha no. I’m only counting recognized common carriers on the ORDC and Wiki lists. There are contract switchers that move a few hundred feet but most don’t cross a public road.

@@fairportrails107 what are those railroads? They aren’t on the Wikipedia or ORDC lists. The TIR isn’t on those lists either but they have no actual route tracks. It’s all yard for them and only on NS rails when they leave the yard.

@@ScottTaipaleRail there are a ton of switching companies and industries with their own railroad divisions
